Buskers Festival 2007 // How You Can Help

The Buskers Festival 2007 is a project that thrives on the support of many individuals just like you. We hope that you will join our community and support the Bone Marrow Donor Programme in the various ways listed below.

 

Join us as a Busker!

We are looking for buskers to perform at our festival from the 10th to the 16th of June at the various busking stations along Orchard Road. Whether you are an a capella group, a strings quartet, a dance troupe or an acoustic band – We Want You!

Join us as a Volunteer!

So what if you aren’t exactly musically-inclined? You can still join our team as a “canner”. The job scope of a “canner” is multi-faceted – aside from distributing flyers and collecting donations from the public, you may also be assigned as a Busking Station I/C where you will be responsible for making all the announcements in between performances or be in charge of manning the sound system.

Make a Donation!

The Buskers Festival is in aid of the Bone Marrow Donor Programme and thus seeks to raise funds to assist the BMDP in building and maintaining a Register of potential bone marrow donors for patients of leukemia and other blood related diseases. Your donation will help to fund this and help to provide a Gift of Tomorrow to these patients!

If you would like to make a donation to support this worthy cause, please enclose all completed forms and cheques together in an envelope and mail them to the following address:

All donations are tax-deductible. Personal donations will automatically be included in your tax assessment if you have given your correct NRIC/FIN number (for foreigners).
